The PCA Resource Center provides academic support to students outside of the regular classroom during the school day in an effort to reduce the time students spend tutoring outside of school hours.

Tutoring occurs in an academic support classroom that provides a learning environment conducive to the needs of each student participating in the program. The classroom is also available for the students who qualify to have a quiet working environment to complete tests without time constraints. The tutoring is provided through the Resource Center Director, certified teachers, paid tutors from Faulkner University, and hand-selected PCA students.

The PCA Resource Center works with teachers to provide the accommodations and guidance students need on a daily basis to help them reach their full potential. Tangle Taylor, PCA Resource Center Director communicates with teachers and tutors on a weekly basis, as well as keep parents updated on their student’s progress.

If the PCA Resource Center is something you feel would benefit your child, please complete the appropriate application and return it to the school office. Applications may be downloaded here.
