Panthers Win Capital City Classic Basketball Tournament

The Panthers win the Jack Schweers Capital City Classic Basketball Tournament for the second year!

PCA ends Tallassee High School’s 15-game win streak and extends their own to 14 wins in a row in the heavy-weight championship fight at Trinity Presbyterian School. In a 39-36 victory, Cooper Meadows led the Panthers with 14 points, eight rebounds, and six blocks. BJ Comer added 11 points, ten rebounds, and four assists. Michael McCarty scored six points, and Ben Segars added five points and four assists.

BJ Comer was named to the All-Tournament Team and Cooper Meadows was named MVP of the tournament for the second year in a row.

The Panthers improve to 17-2 on the season and will travel to play Sacred Heart, four-time defending state champions in the new year.
